This is my Story
Growing up, I struggled with loving my natural hair. I spent years trying to “fix” it—straightening, relaxing, and doing anything to achieve that glossy, straight look. I never quite fit the image I thought I needed to be, and that left me feeling disconnected.
But things started to change when I listened to my sisters, who encouraged me to embrace my curls. It wasn’t easy at first, but over time I learned how to care for my hair, how to work with it, and most importantly, how to love it. I began to see that my natural hair wasn’t a flaw—it was a unique part of me that deserved to be celebrated.
That transformation is why I do what I do. I know how life-changing it is to go from feeling unsure about yourself to confidently owning your natural beauty. I also believe that when you love and embrace your natural beauty, it creates a strong foundation for anything else you want to try with your look. I’m here to help you see the beauty that’s already there so you can build from it. My goal is simple: to inspire you to love your hair, embrace your journey, and feel confident and empowered every single day.
When I first started as a curly hairdresser, it was just me helping out family and friends, but over the years, I’ve worked in professional salons, co-founded a brand, and eventually built my own. Now, as Christine Evergreen, I’m here to help you not only look great but also feel confident about your natural hair. I focus on creating a safe, supportive space where you can truly embrace your curls and learn to care for them with love and skill.
